Introduction of Sinotruk Howo Wd615 Engine
WD615 engine is a supporting engine for Stahl-Steyr 91 series heavy-duty vehicles. It adopts the technology of Austrian Steyr’s ‘615’ series engine and combines with the latest diesel enhancement technology to produce inline six-cylinder, water-cooled, direct-injection diesel engine with high enhancement for automotive use.
WD615 diesel engine is an in-line 6-cylinder engine, with a bore of 126mm, a stroke of 130mm, a single-cylinder displacement of 1.5L, and an engine displacement of 9.726L. It is available in naturally-aspirated, supercharged, and supercharged intercooled models, with a basic speed of 2,200r/min, a power range of 176kW-280kW, and a minimum fuel consumption rate of 194g/kW.h.
